What are your favorite activities outside of teaching?
Running, hiking, making dinners with my friends and playing with my nephew!
What is your favorite place or thing to do in West Virginia?
My all-time favorite thing to do in WV is hiking around dolly sods and ending the hike with food at hellbenders in Davis!
Why did you apply to the Teachers Ascend Program?
I knew I wanted to return to West Virginia, and when I saw Teachers Ascend and what their mission was, I knew it was meant to be! Having a home base that shares my love of teaching, West Virginia and the outdoors could not have been a better choice!
