What are your favorite activities outside of teaching?
Hiking, exploring new places, and reading.
What is your favorite place or thing to do in West Virginia?
So far, I have enjoyed White Water Rafting and the hike to Blackwater Falls!
Why did you apply to the Teachers Ascend Program?
I chose Teachers Ascend because it seemed like a new adventure in a new place with lots of like-minded individuals. It seemed like it would offer resources and connections that would be difficult to make otherwise when starting out in a new place.
