Dr. Kevin Fields

Dr. Fields has worked for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, for over 27 years in various roles and responsibilities ranging from Production, Projects, Quality, Engineering, Facilities, Environmental and Tooling. Dr. Fields is currently on a dispatch assignment supporting Toyota North America Production Engineering – Environmental & Facilities in Region 1 as a Sr. Engineering Manager. Previously, he was on a dispatch assignment to Hino Motor Manufacturing in Parkersburg, WV, where he was the Vice President of Manufacturing Services overseeing Safety, Environmental, Quality Control, Quality Engineering, Production Control, Production Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Machine Shop, and Projects. Dr. Fields is also an Adjunct Professor for the University of Charleston. A native of Parkersburg, WV, Dr. Fields now resides in Red House, WV. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from West Virginia University (WVU), a master’s degree in strategic leadership from the University of Charleston (UC), and a doctorate degree in executive leadership from UC. Dr. Fields is a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia and supports college recruiting and co-op mentoring at Toyota. Dr. Fields is on the West Virginia University – Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering visiting committee board, advisory board of Communities in Schools in West Virginia, and has coached youth sports for more than 15 years, using this activity to develop and mentor the youth in his community.
