David L. Ramsey is President and Chief Executive Officer of Vandalia Health, a not-for-profit, statewide health care system.
Vandalia Health is the parent company of the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Health System, Davis Health System and Mon Health System.
Vandalia Health has 17 hospitals (14 plus three affiliates) with 1,530 licensed beds (not counting affiliates), more than 2,000 providers and more than 220 outpatient locations in West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The health system is also home to the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and the Vandalia Health Network which includes both a PHO (provider and hospital organization) and a CIN (clinically integrated network).
Vandalia Health has a total operating budget of $2.5 billion, several foundations in support of local hospitals and is the second largest non-governmental employer in the state of West Virginia, with more than 13,000 employees.
