Saket Sinha is the Global Vice President for our core banking and payments practice as well as global leader for all exponential technologies in financial services industry. In his role, Mr. Sinha focuses on AI/ML, Generative AI, Blockchain, Digital Assets, Extreme Automation, Data & Insights, Cognitive Computing, IoT, Spatial Computing, Edge Computing, Hybrid Cloud Computing and other exponential technologies and their applicability in financial services industry. Mr. Sinha is a seasoned executive and is known for developing and delivering transformative solutions working with CxO leadership and leveraging his financial services industry eminence and expertise. Mr. Sinha has transformed industry use cases applying new technologies focusing on generative AI, data mesh / fabric, AI@Scale, Automation, blockchain, digital transformation, customer centricity and cloud adoption. Mr. Sinha is well known internally and externally for his industry led subject matter expertise, deep understanding of banking and insurance industry processes, thought leadership, strategic insights, client engagement support and advisory services. Mr. Sinha is currently involved with multiple large institutions globally in the areas of Gen AI adoption, super wallet/application, Beyond Banking and embedded finance, Sustainable finance, Hyperpersonalizaiton, experiential banking, digital assets, Central Bank Digital Currencies, tokenization etc. and the replumbing of financial services infrastructure taking place using emerging technologies.
In the past Mr. Sinha has been responsible for growing IBM’s consulting business in financial services across our banking, insurance, and financial markets clients. He brings years of experiences in financial services business model, technology and architecture related to digital transformation, payments, platform banking, core banking, marketplace banking, mobile commerce, cloud-based business models, intelligent automation addressing both revenue and cost drivers while helping financial institutions shift towards the new digital age.
With over 20 years of industry experience, he has held key positions in IBM, Bearing Point and Oracle. As an IBM banking and financial markets Industry Academy Member, Mr. Sinha has been driving business growth through his thought leadership, point of views, consultative approach, and integration of cross brand IBM capabilities.
