Frank Vitale is a resident of West Virginia with over 21 years of experience in business and community leadership. Frank currently serves as President and CEO of Forge Business Solutions – a veteran owned professional consulting firm headquartered in Morgantown, WV – with a focus on strategic planning, human capital development, veteran programs, professional development and commercialization. Frank’s expertise in these areas help support the company’s diverse client portfolio. His personal philosophy aligns with and supports a vision of success through strategy and relationships. In March of 2017, Governor Jim Justice appointed Frank to a seat on the West Virginia Board of Education.

Throughout his career, Frank has held senior leadership roles managing human relations and operations at financial and healthcare institutions and most recently, as Chief Human Resources Officer at KeyLogic Systems – a professional services, engineering and technology firm. He served as senior vice president of Clear Mountain Bank’s Private Banking Group, head of Human Relations and the Executive Banking Group at a start-up bank in north central West Virginia, and director of human relations and operations for the Allegheny/Mid-West Region of Genesis Eldercare.

Vitale earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from West Virginia University, where he recently served as a member and past-chairman of the MBA Advisory Board for the College of Business and Economics; He currently serves as Chairman of the Visiting Committee for the School of Public Health; past-member of the Visiting Committees for the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Pharmacy; and past-member of the board for the Campus Neighborhoods Revitalization Corporation for Morgantown, WV.

Additional current posts include Vitale’s role as immediate past-chairman of the board for the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce; member of the Monongalia County (WV) Economic Development Authority; member of the board at TechconnectWV; and member of the Leadership Council for the WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. A graduate of the US Army’s Academy of Health Sciences, Vitale has more than 17 years of accumulated service to his country as a member of the U.S. Army and West Virginia National Guard, finishing his career with the rank of Captain. Since graduating from Valley Forge Military College in 1994, Vitale has been recognized on numerous accounts for his service, including through the United States of America - Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal with oak-leaf cluster.

His passion for service extends to the community and local public policy issues affecting our veterans. Vitale was recognized in 2010 for his work with Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff – Pentagon, for developing a grass-roots effort to meet the needs of U.S. veterans and their families as they return to civilian life and require support in accessing health care, education and employment opportunities. In 2010, Vitale co-founded Vetconnection.org, a West Virginia based, non-profit group whose primary mission is to ensure that returning veterans and their families are treated with respect and assisted in building a new life in their community of choice.

Frank Vitale was selected as a 2015 “Young Gun” by West Virginia Executive Magazine. He is the recipient of the 2014 WVU Alumni Association’s Community Service Award, and in 2011 the West Virginia State Journal chose Frank as a member of “Generation Next – 40 Under 40.”

Frank and his wife Ashley reside in Morgantown, West Virginia, with their son Maxwell and daughters Isabella and Cecelia.
