Leadership Expert/Certified Coach
Dr. Kimberly Hambrick is a proven education consultant with nearly 30 years expertise as a leader for non-profit and for profit organizations. She has extensive knowledge of program management at the Federal, State, and Local levels. She understands the challenges associated with collaboration across different organizations and has worked successfully in the past to create opportunities for regional organizations to build winning partnerships and facilitate opportunities that align with mission and competencies. She is a certified coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker with an emphasis on leadership, human development, strategic planning, and various other topics with a focus on maximizing the potential of individuals, teams, and organizations.
Dr. Hambrick most recently served as part of the leadership team of the Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center, where she designed and delivered capacity building training to state education agency staff and state board of education members. She also oversaw evaluation intervention contracts and work in the post-secondary/adult education areas; and spearheaded business development efforts. Currently, she leads her own independent consulting firm.
She has her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration (a minor in Measurement and Evaluation; and Organizational Change and Development) from Capella University. She received her Master’s in Research and Evaluation from Marshall University and her Bachelor’s in Journalism from West Virginia University.
