Katherine Kopp is AI Academic Partnerships Director at DataRobot.  In this role, she works with higher education institutions and community and technical colleges to integrate augmented intelligence and machine learning into curriculum to help prepare students for the workforce. Kopp is passionate about helping to remove the fear factor of AI/ML in order for everyone to recognize its ability to solve big problems and change the world in which we live. 

Previously, Kopp served as Director of Data Driven WV at West Virginia University's John Chambers College of Business and Economics where she led student experiential learning projects in data analytics and supported applied faculty research. She also served as the Senior Data Scientist for WV's Joint Interagency Task Force and was awarded the Civilian Service Achievement Medal from the Department of the Army for work done in partnership with the West Virginia National Guard related to the state’s COVID response efforts.  Kopp holds an MBA and M.S. in Business Data Analytics.
